Bryan Defeats Oak Harbor 4-1

Bryan beats Oak Harbor 4-1 to go 5-2-1 on the season.

The boys showed their resilience after going a goal down 3 and a half minutes into the contest when possession was lost and Oak Harbor played the forward in who finished the chance.

After that opening the Bears regained composure and kept pushing the ball forward. Winning multiple corners and scoring off of a scramble in the box that Eric Koenig finished. 3 minutes later Alex Diaz slotted Altaffer in who took on his man; gained seperation and slotted home the chance. With 6 minutes left in the half Max Burton play a ball over the defense that Altaffer chased down and beat the keeper to, chipped the keeper and finished the chance.

Bryan continued creating attacking opportunities in the second half, scoring the lone goal of the half 12 minutes in. Carter Luce took a deep free kick that Max Burton brought down and finished the chance. Oak Harbor pressed and had some attacking chances that the defense and GK Jess Hendricks were able to contain.

Bryan returns to action on Thursday 9/18 against Swanton at Rec Park in an NWOAL matchup.
