The Bryan cross country teams had plenty of reason to celebrate after the League meet held at Leaders Farms. The boys team won their first League title since 2013 with a team total score of 36 points. The nearest team to them was Wauseon with 64 points. The girls team placed 4th while finishing only 2 points behind Archbold.
Xander Fackler defended his individual title while winning the boys race in convincing fashion. This marked the 3rd time he has finished 1st team all-NWOAL as well. Elijah Cummins placed 7th good for 1st team honors as well. Braydon Buchanan followed closely behind in 9th, Malaki Neilson finished 13th, and Spencer Woodward finished 14th, all good for 2nd League recognition.
Kate Thormeier led the ladies’ team with a 3rd place finish and Nicolette Stickney followed closely behind in 5th place to both receive 1st team All-NWOAL honors as well! Arella Alyanakian was the 3rd finisher for the ladies, placing 18th – good for All-NWOAL Honorable Mention!
Seniors Carter Jack and Dawson Moore wrapped up their Golden Bear cross country careers. Thank you to their commitment over all 4 cross country seasons!
