The Bryan bowling teams continued their strong season Tuesday night with a home sweep of Miller City, as both the Lady Bears and Bears delivered convincing performances.
Girls Recap
The Bryan girls turned in a balanced and efficient effort, building a solid foundation in match play before pulling away during the baker games. Bryan rolled a 1,729 match play total and added a 563 baker series to finish with 2,292 pins overall. Miller City totaled 1,436, giving Bryan an 856-pin victory margin. Zoey Gillett and Mya Federspiel paced the Lady Bears with matching 361 series, while Meadow Goebel followed closely with a 359. Polly Sleesman added a 343 series, and Allison Leininger chipped in with a 305 as Bryan showcased depth across the lineup.
Boys Recap
The Bryan boys matched the girls’ intensity, posting big numbers in match play and staying consistent through the baker games. Bryan totaled 1,910 in match play and added a 506 baker series to finish with 2,416 pins. Miller City ended the night with 2,216 pins, as Bryan secured a 200-pin win. Micah Smith led the Bears with a match-high 426 series, while Noah Mills rolled a 417 and Noah Geren followed with a 402. Additional contributions from Otto Proxmire, Emyrson Slattman, and Skyler Crooks helped round out a strong team performance.
With standout individual series and solid team execution, Bryan completed a clean sweep over Miller City on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.
