On Thursday September 14th, the Bryan 8th grade football team travelled to Patrick Henry and defeated the Patriots 32-0. Lukas Reid (RB) led the way with 2 rushing touchdowns and a 2-pt conversion run. Hunter Watson (RB) added a rushing touchdown and a 2-pt conversion run. Rhett McGill (QB) connected with Easton Kerr (WR) for a touchdown pass. Bryce Welling (WR) added a 2-pt reception from Rhett McGill and Holden Wheeler rounded out the scoring with a 2-pt conversion run in the 4th quarter. The Bryan 8th grade built a 24-0 lead at half and continued to control the game in the 2nd half. Mason Allen intercepted a pass with under 2:00 minutes left to seal the shutout victory. The Bryan 8th grade is now 2-1 overall. They will travel to Liberty Center next Thursday.
