The Bryan 8th grade boys basketball team put together a strong all-around performance Monday night, defeating Hicksville 52–37. Bryan had a 22-16 point lead at half and came alive in the second half scoring 30 points. The momentum continued after the break as Bryan stretched the lead to 39–27 by the end of the third quarter and never looked back.
Hoyt McGill led the way offensively, pouring in 26 points, including 17 in the second half to help Bryan pull away. Max Neff added 12 points, while Xavier Oliphant chipped in eight. Hayden Warner finished with two points, and Harrison Spitnale rounded out the scoring with a free throw as Bryan closed out a solid team win.
The boys host Evergreen today in their last home game of the season starting at 5pm.
