On Monday October 7th, the Bryan 7th grade football team won their second game in a row with a 22-12 win over Patrick Henry. The Bryan offense revolved around workhorse running back London Villalovos as he reached paydirt on 3 touchdown runs as well as adding 2 2-point conversion runs. The Bryan offensive line and wide receivers did a nice job opening holes throughout the game. Max Neff and Ryan Carpenter also contributed in the running game. The Golden Bears held an 8-6 advantage at half and led the entire game finishing off the complete team win with a solid defensive effort led by Hoyt McGill, Max Neff, Ryan Carpenter, Kam Lakes, Casen Herman, and London Villalovos who all had multiple tackles. Nolan Wyman deflected multiple passes in providing great coverage to solidify the back end of the Bryan defense. The Bryan 7th grade football team is now 2-3 overall and they host Swanton on Thursday (7:00 p.m.).
