On Thursday October 3rd, the Bryan 7th grade football team traveled to Evergreen and came away with their first win of the season winning 6-0. The lone touchdown of the game came from Bryan fullback Ryan Carpenter in the second quarter. Carpenter was the top receiver for the game catching a long pass reception from QB Max Neff in the 2nd half to put Bryan in scoring position. Leading the Golden Bears in rushing was London Villalovos as the ball control offense moved the ball on the Vikings, but struggled to cash in more points throughout the game. However, the Bryan defense came to play shutting out the Vikings with Ryan Carpenter, Sawyer Baumgartner, Carson Connin, Hoyt McGill, Max Neff, London Villalovos, and Casen Herman leading the way. The Bryan 7th grade football team is now 1-3 overall and their next game is Monday vs. Patrick Henry (5:00 p.m.).
