The Bryan Lady Bears dropped a straight-set match to Liberty Center on Monday night, falling 23-25, 19-25, 10-25.
Bryan had balanced contributions across the board. From the service line, Gezzy Kidston, Alea Shilling, and Kelsie Thiel each tallied two aces. At the net, Ava Neubig and Kidston each had six kills apiece, while Nora Kunsman added five. Setter Jozie Cordy kept the offense moving with 21 assists.
Defensively, Clare Stever held down the back row with 19 digs, while Kidston chipped in 12. Thiel and Neubig also had two solo blocks each.
Lady Bears JV beat the Tigers in 3 sets 25-21, 22-25, 25-21.
The Bears are 3-8 on the season, 0-4 in league play. They will host the Hicksville Aces on Thursday night with JV starting at 5:30.
