Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears With Tough Game Against Coldwater

Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears couldn’t keep up with Coldwater and fell 9-3 on Saturday.
Coldwater were the first to get on the board in the first when Howell singled, scoring one run.
Coldwater added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Winner singled down the right field line, Stammen scored after tagging up, and Couchot singled to center field, each scoring one run.
Coldwater extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Kremer and Kessen.
Schroer earned the win for Coldwater. The pitcher gave up six hits and three runs (two earned) over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four. Quinn Green took the loss for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs on 11 hits, striking out one and walking three.
Cole Carlin, John Dalrymple, Green, Rhett McGill, Asher Sito, and Bryce Welling each collected one hit for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. Dalrymple and Sito each drove in one run for Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears. Bryan Junior Varsity Golden Bears didn’t commit a single error in the field. Easton Kerr had the most chances in the field with four.
Coldwater piled up 13 hits in the game. Schroer and Kessen each collected three hits for Coldwater. Schroer, Kremer, and Kessen each drove in two runs for Coldwater. Winner and Howell each collected multiple hits for Coldwater. Schroer, Howell, and Kessen each stole multiple bases for Coldwater. Coldwater ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 10 stolen bases for the game. Coldwater turned one double play in the game.
