The Bryan Lady Bears came up just short in all three sets, falling to Central Catholic 23-25, 23-25, 23-25.
Serving was balanced for Bryan, with Gezzy Kidston, Clare Stever, Ava Neubig, and Jozie Cordy each recording an ace. Defensively, Kidston led the backroom with 15 digs, while Reese Ruffer added 10 and Stever chipped in 8.
At the net, Kelsie Thiel tallied 2 solo blocks and contributed 5 kills, while Nora Kunsman paced the offense with 11 kills. Cordy had 24 assists.
Bryan JV won in two sets against CC (25-23 and 25-21).
Bears are now 5-13 on the season and will host their final home game on Saturday, September 27th with JV starting at 10 am.
