The Lady Bears basketball team defeated Evergreen 52-35 in NWOAL play. The Bears stretched a one point half time lead with a great second half. The Bears shoot 8-12 from 3 in the second half. Averyann Fisher led the way with 16 points, Josey Arnold chipped in 14, and Amiyah Langham added 13 points. Piper Hanna and Emme Miller provided great defense on Evergreen’s leading scorer, holding her to just 10 points. The Bears are back in action Saturday at noon against Liberty Benton.
Jv lost in two quarters of action 19-15. Karli McDade led with 6 points, Gezzy Kidston had 5, and adding 2 a piece were Jozie Cordy and Emaline Slagle. Bryan JV is now 13-6.
