The Bryan 8th grade girls battled through a slow start but ultimately came away with a hard fought 21–16 victory over Edgerton. Early on, the girls struggled to find their rhythm, allowing Edgerton to stay close.
As the game progressed, Bryan’s defense tightened, creating key stops that kept Edgerton from gaining momentum. A few timely baskets and improved ball movement helped the Bryan girls pull ahead. They held strong especially in the 4th quarter as they didn’t allow Edgerton to score at all.
Mallie Grant led the way with 7 points. Ady Fruchey, Ryann Eichkhoff and Emmalynn Yoder all added 4 points each and Riley Bever chipped in 2 points.
