8th Grade Girls fall to Indians

The 8th grade girls lost a hard fought battle to Wauseon. The girls had a slow start being down at the half 9-21 but then exploded in the 3rd and 4th quarters. The final score was 27-32 in Wauseons favor. Ady Fruchey was the lead scorer with 8 points followed closely by Maliya Champada who had 7. Emma Yoder added 5 points, Charlotte Johnston had 4 points and Ryann Eickhoff chipped in 3 points. Addilyn King was a defensive specialist creating multiple turnovers and limiting Wauseons scoring options within the second half. The girls will play again Monday at home vs Paulding.
