The 7th grade Lady Bears played a well fought game and came up on top 31-30 against the Fairview Apaches.
The Lady Bears aggressive defense and great shooting took them ahead at halftime 21-14. The Apaches came out on fire after the half and with less than 30 seconds left in the game, tied the Lady Bears with a 3 point basket. The Bears confidence and determination were no match for the Fairview Apaches. With 2 seconds left in the game, Harper Smith made a hard drive to the basket, getting fouled while shooting. Smith drained the first foul shot putting the Bears on top 31-30 which eventually led to a Golden Bear win.
