The 7th grade girls basketball team opened up their season with a win against the Wauseon Indians.
The Bears battled the first two quarters going into halftime leading 10-4. The Lady Bears outstanding defense and confident shooting led them to outscore Wauseon the second half 18-3, with a final score of 28-7.
Harper Smith led the bears with 10 pts. Brynn Schlachter chipped in 8pts. Emma Yoder and Anni Grant each had 4pts.
