The Lady Bears improved their record Tuesday evening to 8-2, as the girls defeated the Evergreen Vikings 38-23. The Bears took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back, getting a great team victory. The Bear’s pressure defense and sharp shooting couldn’t be stopped by the Vikings as the Bears went into halftime with a 21-8 lead. Molly Ruffer dominated the boards while Harper Smith and Emmalynn Yoder, combined, scored 25 of the 38 points. Anni Grant had her best game of the season, contributing to great ball handling and 6 points. Brynn Schlachter went 1 for 2 from the foul line and played disciplined defense while being in foul trouble early.
