The 7th grade Golden Bears moved to 6-0-1 and 6-0 in the league with the 40-12 win vs. Wauseon. Griffin F0wler ran for 4TD’s and a 2pt conversion to lead the scoring. Tyler Tipton added a TD run and two 2pt passes, both to Ethan Longoria. Tipton and Evan Cassaubon added 2pt runs to cap off the scoring. Longoria and William Weber both made multiple big catches in the game and Weber broke a huge run off a reverse in the 3rd quarter. All this was created by a great effort from the Offensive line. The Defensive line was great again creating pressure versus the Wauseon passing attack. Evan Longoria, Tristen Williamson, Ethan Longoria, Harry Six, Cooper Vollmer, Cade Kern, Izayah Britt, Warren Grant, Saybien Brown, Connor Monroe, Logan Whitlock, and Mason Grime all made plays up front for the Bears. Fowler, Nate Root, and John Haury all broke up passes. Weber and Ethan Longoria were all over the field as well making plays for the defense. The team travels to Archbold next Tuesday with a chance to win the league outright versus the Bluestreaks.
