The 7th Grade Football Team open there season Thursday night with a 26-6 victory over the Tinora Rams. Oliver Botts opened the scoring with a 1 yard TD run. Tatum Aquino ran the in the two point conversion. After a stop by the defense, Merit Hahn found Tatum Aquino in the corner of the end zone for a second touchdown. The defense continued to play lights out with an interception by Oliver Botts late in the second quarter. This led to a touchdown pass from Merit Hahn to Max Weber with 10 second left in the half to make the halftime score 20-0. Merit Hahn took a sweep 50 yards for a final touchdown for the Bears. The defense played well with swarming to the ball and a physical attack led by Alex Watson, Jackson Towne, Tatum Aquino, and Wyatt Dirr. It was an all around effort as all players contributed to the victory. The Bears are back in action Thursday September 10th against Patrick Henry at home at 5 pm.
