We are beyond thrilled to announce that BOTH our Junior High Boys and Girls Cross Country teams took 1st place at the NWOAL Championship! Our boys team won with 31 points, and our girls team won with 27 points.
Our athletes ran through cold, muddy, and tough conditions, proving just how resilient they truly are.
This season was about so much more than just crossing the finish line. In cross country, “following the course” has a double meaning. It means navigating the physical track, but it also means trusting your own personal journey. Whether that meant pushing through discomfort, chasing a new personal record (PR), or reaching a goal set at the beginning of the season. Every single runner showed incredible growth this year.
We are so proud of their hard work, grit, and heart, and we feel honored to have been a part of their journey.
Way to go, BMS Cross Country!
