The Lady Bears tennis team took to the courts on Tuesday evening against the Lady Bulldogs and kept their 2026 campaign unblemished as they walked away with a 5-0 win.
Bryan dominated at first and second singles by winning 24 of the 27 games while at third singles Defiance battled back and forth against Bryan’s Moselle Huard with Huard coming out on top in straight sets.
In doubles, the Lady Bulldogs took Bryan’s first doubles tandem of Emma Schlade and Shayla Frank to the brink before the Lady Bears clinched the set 6-4. Schlade and Frank took the momentum into the second set and didn’t look back as they dominated 6-0 to close out the match. At second doubles, Bryan was in control the entire match and walked away with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Bryan is now 4-0 on the season and puts its undefeated record on the line again on Thursday as they face Wauseon at home at 4:30 PM.
