It was a great day to be a Bryan cross country fan!
The boys team will be advancing to regional meet after a 3rd place district finish. The boys team was edged out of second place by three points to a competitive Elmwood team.
Leading the Bryan boys were Colton Sheline running a 15:42 and Josiah Cummins a 15:56, finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Rounding out the varsity squad and qualifying with the team to run next week at regionals were John Deitemeyer, Elijah Cummins, Josh Sampson, Jerry Taylor and Fred Parmer.
While the ladies did not qualify as a team, individuals Lila Brock, Riley Bever, Claire Thormeier and Lily Pitman will be making the trip to Tiffin for the regional race! Senior Kassi McDade wrapped up her XC career with an amazing race, ending her senior season with an all time Personal Best!
Congratulations to all the runners and a huge thanks to all the teammates and fans who came out to cheer these hard working athletes on!
Bryan will run regionals in Tiffin next Saturday, October 30th.
