The 7th grade football team battled to end despite falling short on Thursday evening 26-20 to the Patrick Henry Patriots. The Bears battled to give themselves a chance at the end, but fell just short. They showed great fight and determination to battle back after being down three scores in the 2nd half. Max Weber had a huge day receiving, catching touchdowns of 44 yards, 48 yards, and 70 yards. Merit Hahn connected with Weber on all three touchdowns. The defense made big stops in the second half to get the Bears back in it, led by big stops by Wyatt Dirr, Alex Watson, and Emerson Davis. Gunner Bellamy had a big punt return to set up great field position. The Bears are back in action Thursday September 17th at home against Liberty Center at 5 pm.
