In the distance events, Colton Sheline and Josiah Cummins braved a difficult double. Sheline placed 13th in the 1600m (4:40.82) and surged to a 9th-place finish in the 3200m (9:58.42), while Cummins took 15th in the 1600m (4:52.05) and 11th in the 3200m (10:11.86).
