On 4\/27 our JH track athletes travelled to Tinora and had some top notch performances before the meet ended early due to thunderstorms. We had Xavier Oliphant tie the boy’s 100m school record with a time of 11.6. London Villalovos placed 1st for the 110 hurdles, and in a close 3rd place finish, Bram Giese. The boys and girls both won the 4x800m relay. These teams included; Riley Bever, Andrea Slagle, Aria Fackler, Addie King, Ben Schafer, Owen Grant, Aj Smith, and Jack Thormeier. The boys took places 1st-3rd in the long jump with Xavier Oliphant leading the way with a jump of 16’7, second, with a jump of 14’2 was Jayce Hartsock, and 3rd with a jump of 14’1\/2 was Easton Heater. Colby Beltran and Allie Tietsort took first in shot put. The girls 4x200m relay team took first which included these members; Olivia Sito, Lilly Elkins, Elli Walborn, and Charlotte Johnston.<\/p>\n

On 4\/30 our JH track team travelled to Wauseon for a tri-meet with Liberty Center. Top performers for this meet included Xavier Oliphant with a first place finish in the boys 100m with a time of 11.77. A 1st place finish from Lauren Bell in the girls 800m with a time of 2:52.99. Paisley Clarke won a first place finish in the girls mile with a time of 5:54.13. Boy’s 4×100 team won 1st with a time of 49.41 this team included Xavier Oliphant, Alyjah Buehrer, London Villalovos, Sawyer Hutchison. Our girls 4×100 also placed first with a time of 55.92, this team included; Eavain Miller, Molly Ruffer, Charlotte Johnston, and Laycin Rodeheaver. Our boys pulled off a very close 1st place finish in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:14.57. This team included Micah Hughs, Bram Giese, Alyjah Buehrer and Sawyer Hutchison. Laycin Rodeheaver took 1st in pole vault with a vault of 7’0. Xavier Oliphant took 1st in long jump with a jump of 17’5.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
