On Thursday April 16th our JH Bryan track team took on Swanton and Archbold at home. Girl’s final team scores were Archbold- 96, Bryan- 50, Swanton- 18. Boy’s final scores were Archbold- 90, Bryan- 45, and Swanton- 25.<\/p>\n
Top scorers included Molly Ruffer who took 3rd in the girls 100m with a time of 14.6. Harper Smith with a 3rd place finish in the girls 400m with a time of 1:06.1. Elli Walborn took a second place finish in the girls 100m hurdles with a time of 20.8. In the 200m hurdles, Molly Ruffer took first with a time of 34.1, and Anni Grant took 3rd with a time of 38.3. Our girls 4x100m relay team is just 2 seconds short of the school record with a time of 56.0. This team included Eavain Miller, Molly Ruffer, Charlotte Johnston, and Laycin Rodeheaver, they took second place behind Archbold. Our girls 4x200m relay took 2nd place with a time of 2:05.6. This team included Lauren Bell, Olivia Sito, Charlotte Johnston, and Laycin Rodeheaver. The girls 4x400m team took 2nd behind Archbold with a time of 4:57. This team included Anni Grant, Paisley Clarke, Addie King, and Harper Smith. On the field side, Paisley Clarke took home a 3rd place finish in high jump clearing 4’2. Girls Swept 1-2 & 3 in the pole vault, Laycin Rodeheaver in 1st with a vault of 7’0, Charlotte Johnston in 2nd with a vault of 6’6, and Anni Grant in 3rd with a vault of 6’0.<\/p>\n
On the boys side, our top scorers included Xavier Oliphant who won 1st place in the 100m with a time of 11.7, he is .1 second away from a school record! Easton Heater won 2nd place in the 200m with a time of 28.0. In the 400m Sawyer Hutchison won 1st with a time of 1:00.8, and Micah Hughs won 3rd with a time of 1:03.3. Bennett Schafer won third in the mile with a time of 6:34. In the 110m hurdles London Villalovos took 2nd place with a time of 21.4. The boys 4x100m team took 1st with a time of 48.9, this team included\u00a0Xavier Oliphant, Alyjah Buehrer, London Villalovos and Sawyer Hutchison. The boys 4x200m team took 2nd with a time of 1:55.3. This team included Jayce Hartsock, London Villalovos, Tommy King, and Alyjah Buehrer. The boys 4x400m team took 2nd as well with a time of 4:33.0, this team included, Micah Hughs, Bram Giese, Aj Smith, and Sawyer Hutchison. The boys 4x800m team also took 2nd with a time of 11:43, this team included Schafer, Grant, Smith, and Hughs. In pole vault, Bennett Schafer won 2nd place with a vault of 6’0. In the long jump, Xavier Oliphant won 1st place with a new PR of 17-09.25. Easton Heater took 3rd with a jump of 14-03.75.<\/p>\n
