Bryan trailed 3-1 going into the bottom of the 5th inning and tallied 3 runs to move ahead 4-3. Reese Ruffer led off the 5th with a single and moved to second from an error. After a hit-by-pitch on Amiyah Langham, Thea Staten hit a 3-run home run to put the Bears up. Bryan tacked on another run in the 6th to go up 5-3.<\/p>\n<p>Staten had 17 strikeouts on the mound giving up just one hit (home run by A. Sigler).
