The Lady Jr. High and High School Golden Bear Wrestlers traveled to Bellefontaine this past weekend to participate in the Iron Maiden\u00a0 wrestling tournament.\u00a0 There were 67 teams competing and Bryan finished in 25th.\u00a0 Individually, the Bears were led by their senior leader Marlee Yoder who finished in 3rd place.\u00a0 Her lone loss was to the returning 4th place state finisher.\u00a0 She was 4-1 on the day.\u00a0 Mycalah Graves also had a great showing finishing 5th, going 5-1.\u00a0 Also representing the Golden Bears was Layla Oswalt.\u00a0 Layla continues to give the team everything she has and has the desire that it takes to get on the winning side of things.<\/p>\n
Also attending this tournament were a few of the Junior High Lady Bears.\u00a0 They were led by Payton Geiner who finished 2nd.\u00a0 She was outscored in the finals 10-9, but wrestled a great match.\u00a0 Her record on the day was 3-1.\u00a0 Brayleigh Herman also competed for the team and finished in 7th place going 2-3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
