Bryan shut out Clyde 4-0 on Friday behind a dominant performance from pitcher Thea Staten, who struck out 18 batters while allowing just two hits in a complete-game victory. The Golden Bears scored all four runs in the first inning, with Karli McDade driving in two runs and Staten adding an RBI. Josey Arnold, Averyann Fisher, McDade, Reese Ruffer and Staten each collected a hit for Bryan.
The Bears will play Clear Fork, at Clyde on Wednesday at 2 PM.
