Boys Bball Falls Short

Bryan lost to Defiance 57-53 on Saturday night. The Golden Bears have lost two in a row. Their record is 3-3.

The Bears were down 25-9 at halftime. But they scored on four straight possessions to start the second half. Bryan scored 27 points in the third quarter, and cut the Bulldogs lead to 40-36. Unfortunately, they were never able to take the lead.

The Golden Bears were led in scoring by Connor Lemons, who had 13 points off the bench. Reese Jackson and Caleb Zuver had eleven apiece. They were the only other players to score in double figures.

Alex Naton led Defiance in scoring with 19. Tyler Goings added 12. Their presence in the post proved to be difficult for the Bears to defend.
